Sneak Peek for Kelly and Dan

There was a time when I thought I would never do portraits and weddings. I wanted to only make art....what ever that is. Recently I have had a change of heart. I realized that as a photographer I am part historian and part storyteller. I make heirlooms and I find that to be a pretty important job. I read a quote tonight, "Family stories make the most valuable heirlooms." Kel and Dan this seemed most appropriate. I was unsure if I should post this tonight, but I wanted you to have your sneek peek because even on our worst days we must give ourselves a moment to find something to smile about so it makes even just one moment a bit better. Allow yourself to enjoy your beautiful niece, nephew and your fantastic little drummer boy!

A Glimpse for the Farrell's

Meet the Farrell's ALL 23 of them! I was planning on shooting this session on my own but then I thought 23 hmmm.... I need backup AND a bribe (with 12 kids the mother and teacher in me that I can never turn off said bring candy). So I was accompanied by my husband a man of many talents and some ridiculously large Lolie pops. I figured lolie pops made sense we were going to Lolie's house! It was hard to choose the pics for this preview but above represents a cross section of some of the limbs of this big beautiful family. I have personally shared many laughs and tears with the Farrell's and it is amazing to see how they have grown! Welcome to the newest member Miss Maggie, but don't get took comfortable as the baby Sue has another on the way...WHEW!

A Glimpse for Miss Chloe

Chloe is just three tiny weeks old. She is proof that happy ending exist and dreams really do come true! Chloe has been wished for by many for awhile.... maybe she was just building up anticipation for her debut! Here she is a beautiful perfect bundle of yumminess. For those of you that really know me you know I am not the hugest animal lover BUT look at this dog Winston he is ridiculously adorable. I fell in love with his pouty smirk. Welcome to the world Miss Chloe we're so glad you're in it, especially your mommy and daddy!

A Glimpse for Sarah & Bob

Who knew Monroe could look like this! I had no worries asking Sarah to trespass during this photo session. Sarah and I have a long history of this behavior going back to high school BUT that's another story.... When Sarah mentioned that her and Bob are planning a beautiful stately southern manor style twang wedding I knew we needed a dreamy romantic setting. This abandoned estate across the street from their home was filled with possibility. During this shoot I remembered how intimate these e sessions can be. My subjects really notice me during an engagement session, rather than at a wedding when everyone is so preoccupied. It is always good to identify and sometimes my awkward self can feel just as vulnerable behind the camera. I think Bob and I both relaxed more when we truly committed to the idea of trespassing. I was super proud of the way Bob morphed from camera shy to art director by the end of the shoot! Sarah and Bob are and were adventurous. I love how their happiness radiates in these shots.

Highlights from Smile to Remember

The fund raiser honoring Lynne Morris was a perfect way to pay tribute to her everlasting smile. 10 families participated each making a donation to the scholarship fund, with print profits also being contributed. I had the pleasure of chasing beautiful boys girls families and couples around the park to capture some sweet portraits. Here are a few of my favs

Welcome baby Hudson! Well for starters he has an adorable little name and a sweet little body to match. Hudson was such a trooper during his photo shoot, only wetting the background sheet once! Way to go little man. Hudson is blessed with two proud parents that are clearly head over heels in love with him. What a great way to start the day meeting this little guy, Thank you!

Mary and Dom are ENGAGED!

It was a gorgeous day for an engagement hike in PA! The bride to be was courageous hiking in her super cute ballet shoes. After four sweet years of dating Mary and Dom are looking forward to an April wedding, only seven short months to go! Many thanks to the bride to be's cousin and one of my best friend Denyse for being my impromptu assistant. Looking forward to April already!

Sneak Peek for Andrea and Tony

It turned out to be a beautiful day at Bethel! A rainbow even appeared. Andrea and Tony had a personal ceremony with Uncle David officiating. His sermon was so sweet it brought me to tears. Clearly Andrea and Tony are so blessed to have found each other, but also to be surrounded by so much love! Many family members contributed to the success of the bride and groom's day with handmade floral arrangements, desserts and more! It was wonderful to be part of this day.

John Matthew

I had the pleasure of meeting this handsome little fellow today. John is a very curious soon to be one year old, his mommy was on grass patrol scooping it out of his mouth whenever necessary. What a great mommy! We played  at the park in Cornwall, NY and then went down by the beautiful Hudson River. One year sure goes by fast...
